Nils Tegen
Nils Tegen (born September 13, 1972 in Bad Segeberg ) is a German jazz musician ( piano , drums ) and composer who is active in the German jazz and music scene.
Live and act
Tegen first appeared in local jazz formations in the 1980s. In the early 1990s he had his first own jazz trio, which u. a. Winner of the Jazzpodium Schleswig-Holstein was. After taking part in the jazz contact course in Hamburg, he studied jazz piano with Frank Wunsch and Hans Lüdemann at the Cologne University of Music from 1994 , as well as jazz and composition in Cologne with Joachim Ullrich and Frank Reinshagen (degrees in 1998 and 2001, piano concert exam in 2003). International tours with various projects followed.
In the course of his further career he worked a. a. with José González , Apparat , Brandt-Brauer-Frick Ensemble , Ebbot Lundberg, Nackt, Wende Snijders , El Perro Del Mar, Tocotronic , Moses Schneider , Michel Pilz , Misha Mengelberg , Manfred Schoof , Gerd Dudek , Matthias Schubert , Henning Berg , Dieter Glawischnig , Jochen Rückert , Jonas Burgwinkel , Pablo Held , Bob Mintzer , Frank Gratkowski , Pascal Schumacher , Florian Ross , Florian Weber and Caroline Thon .
