The Oldsmobile Model A was a passenger car manufactured by Oldsmobile in the 1907 model year . It replaced the model S from the previous year and was motorized in the same way as the roadster model H produced at the same time .

The five-seater vehicle had a water-cooled inline four-cylinder four-stroke engine installed at the front, which drew an output of 35 to 40 bhp (26 to 29 kW) from a displacement of 4,948 cm³.

The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a three-speed gearbox with a gearshift lever on the outside right and a cardan shaft. The brake pedal worked on the cardan shaft, the handbrake lever on the drum brakes on the rear wheels. The car was delivered as a 4-door touring car or 2-door sedan. Acetylenbeleuchtung was standard, as well as such practical details such as toiletry bags , perfume bottles and ashtrays. The limousine was lined with silk.

The touring car was available in gray, red and green, the sedan was available in dark green or black.

In the following year, the A model was replaced by the M model.
