The Ukrainian Order of Freedom ( Ukrainian Орден Свободи ) is an Order of Merit of Ukraine approved on May 20, 2008 by decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko .

Since then, the order has been given to people who have made special merits in the enforcement of the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, the consolidation of Ukrainian society, democracy, socio-economic and political reforms, the defense of the constitutional rights and freedoms of people and citizens, awarded.

The medal was awarded 67 times as of March 14, 2019.
