LEDA / PGC 25284 (also NGC 2719A ) is an irregular dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type Im in the constellation Lynx in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 138 million light years from the Milky Way and about 15,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 2719 , it forms the interacting galaxy pair Arp 202 / Holm 105 . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of galaxies with matter ejected from the nucleus .
The galaxy NGC 2724 is located in the same area of the sky .
