The Odenkirchen paper mill was a water mill with an undershot water wheel on the Papierbach, a backwater on the upper reaches of the Niers in the Mönchengladbach district of Odenkirchen in the Düsseldorf administrative region .

The Odenkirchen paper mill was located on the Papierbach, a tributary of the Niers, on Gerberstrasse, in the Odenkirchen district of Mönchengladbach. history

The lessee and owner of the Wickrath paper mill built the Odenkirchen paper mill in Odenkirchen in 1720. It was not on the Niers, but on a small tributary, the Papierbach. The mill, which made writing paper and cardboard , was owned by the Greeven family until it closed in the second half of the 19th century. Later there was a leather factory on the site .
