Passion window in Brasparts

The Passion Window in the Notre-Dame-St-Tugen Catholic Church in Brasparts , a French town in the Finistère department in the Brittany region , was created around 1535. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1906 as Monument historique .

The originally central window in the choir , which was moved in 1725, comes from an unknown workshop. It shows various scenes from Jesus' ordeal (see captions).

The window was restored in 1861 by Jean-Louis Nicolas and in 1941 by the Gruber workshop . In 1942, the window was removed to protect it from war damage and in 1951 it was reinstalled by Atelier Gruber.
