Poggio Torriana is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5172 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Rimini in Emilia-Romagna . The municipality was created on January 1, 2014 through the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Poggio Berni and Torriana .

The municipality is located about 13 kilometers south-west of the provincial capital Rimini and about 100 kilometers southeast of the regional capital Bologna . It borders directly on the province of Forlì-Cesena and is in the climatic classification of Italian municipalities in zone E, 2 470. The town hall is in Poggio Berni. Parts of the municipality are located on the Marecchia River and in the Colli di Rimini wine-growing region .

The neighboring municipalities are Borghi ( FC ), Novafeltria , San Leo , Santarcangelo di Romagna , Sogliano al Rubicone (FC) and Verucchio .
