Colli di Rimini
Colli di Rimini (Eng. Hills of Rimini) is an Italian wine-growing region in the province of Rimini ( Emilia-Romagna region ), which has had a "controlled designation of origin " ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) since 1996 , which was last published on March 7, 2014 has been updated.
Growing area
Cultivation and vinification are permitted in the municipalities of Coriano , Gemmano , Mondaino , Monte Colombo , Montefiore Conca , Monte Gridolfo , Montescudo , Morciano di Romagna , Poggio Torriana , Saludecio , San Clemente and Verucchio as well as in parts of the municipalities of Cattolica , Misano Adriatico , San Giovanni in Marignano , Riccione , Rimini and Santarcangelo di Romagna - all in the province of Rimini .

One red and one white blended wine (cuvée) as well as four almost single-origin wines are produced under this name :
- Blending wines
- Colli di Rimini Rosso: must consist of at least 60–75% Sangiovese grapes and 15–25% Cabernet Sauvignon . A maximum of 25% Merlot , Barbera , Montepulciano , Ciliegiolo , Terrano and / or Ancellotta may be added, individually or together.
- Colli di Rimini Bianco: must be made from 50–70% Trebbiano Romagnolo and 30–50% Biancame and / or Mostosa . A maximum of 20% other analogous grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Emilia-Romagna region may be added.
- 85% single origin wines
- Colli di Rimini Cabernet Sauvignon : (also called “Riserva”) A maximum of 15% other analogous grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Emilia-Romagna region may be added.
- Colli di Rimini Biancame : A maximum of 15% Pignoletto , Chardonnay , Riesling , Sauvignon Blanc , Pinot bianco , Müller-Thurgau may be added, individually or together.
- Colli di Rimini Rébola: (also in the typology “dry”, “lovely”, “sweet” and “ passito ”) 85% Pignoletto. A maximum of 15% Biancame and / or Mostosa and / or Trebbiano Romagnolo may be added.
- Colli di Rimini Sangiovese : a maximum of 15% other analogue grape varieties that are approved for cultivation in the Emilia-Romagna region may be added.
