Pskowskoje ( Russian Псковское , German Friedrich Berg ) is a place in the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast (region Königsberg (Prussia) ) and belongs to Gawrilowskoje selskoje posselenije (Town Gawrilowo ( Gawaiten , 1938-1946 Herzogsrode )) in Ozyorsky District (District Darkehmen , 1938- 1946 Angerapp ).

Geographical location

Pskowskoje located 17 kilometers south of Rajonshauptstadt Osjorsk ( Darkehmen , 1938-1946 Angerapp ) to a small road that Jablonowka ( Wilhelm Berg ) via Solnetschnoje ( Szameitschen , 1936-1938 Schameitschen , 1938-1946 Brahmannsdorf ) and Koltsovo ( Kohlau ) with Bagrationowo ( Wikischken , 1938–1946 Wiecken ) connects. A railway connection no longer exists since the line from Insterburg (today Russian: Tschernjachowsk) to Lyck (today Polish: Ełk) with the Wikischken ( Wiecken ) railway station no longer exists.

history

The former Gutsdorf Friedrichsberg was one of eleven rural communities or manor districts that formed the district of Wilhelmsberg (today in Russian: Jablonowka) on May 6, 1874 . Until 1945 he belonged to the district of Darkehmen (1938–1946 Angerapp ) in the administrative district of Gumbinnen in the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 the manor district Friedrichsberg had 255 inhabitants.

On August 7, 1925, the rural community Friedrichsberg was formed from part of the Friedrichsberg manor. The remaining manor district Friedrichsberg was renamed Kohlau (today Russian: Kolzowo). In the same year Friedrichsberg had 355 inhabitants, whose number was 308 in 1933 and 310 in 1939.

After 1945 Friedrichsberg came under Soviet administration and in 1946 was given the new name "Pskowskoje". Until 2009 it belonged to the Gawrilowski soviet (Dorfsovjet Gawrilowo ( Gawaiten , 1938–1946 Herzogsrode )). Due to a structural and administrative reform, Pskowskoje is now a "settlement" (possjolok) named place within the Gavrilowskoje selskoje posselenije (rural community Gavrilowo) in Osjorsk district in the now Russian Oblast Kaliningrad .

church

The mostly evangelical population of Friedrichsberg was parish until 1945 in the parish Wilhelmsberg (today Russian: Jablonowka). It belonged to the church district Darkehmen (1938-1946 Angerapp ) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergyman was Pastor Johannes Schenk .

Church life was forbidden during the time of the Soviet Union . It was not until the 1990s that new Protestant congregations formed in the Kaliningrad Oblast , the closest of which to the Pskovskoye in Gawrilowo ( Gawaiten , 1938–1946 Herzogsrode ). It is incorporated into the Kaliningrad provost in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER). The clergy responsible are the pastors of the Salzburg church in Gussew ( Gumbinnen ).
