history

The former Königsfelde belonged to the eleven rural communities and manor districts that formed the Wilhelmsberg district on May 6, 1874 (Russian: Jablonowka). In 1818 111 inhabitants were registered in the manor village, the number of which rose to 214 by 1863. In 1910 there were already 259 people living in Königsfelde.

On October 17, 1928, the rural community of Szameitschen (1936–1938 Schameitschen , 1938–1946 Brahmannsdorf , since 1946 Solnetschnoje) and the manor districts Wilhelmsberg (Slawkino) and Königsfelde to form the new rural community Wilhelmsberg (Russian: Jablonowka). Until 1945 it belonged to the district of Darkehmen (1939–1946 district of Angerapp ) in the administrative district of Gumbinnen in the Prussian province of East Prussia .

After 1945 Königsfelde came under Soviet administration. 1946 was awarded the Russian name "Novo-Slawjanskoje" and belonged until 2009 to Gawrilowski soviet (village Soviet Gawrilowo ( Gawaiten , 1938-1946 Herzogsrode )) and has been a "settlement" called location within the Gawrilowskoje selskoje posselenije (Town Gawrilowo) in Rajon Osjorsk in the now Russian Kaliningrad Oblast .

church

Before 1945, Königsfelde belonged to the parish Wilhelmsberg (Jablonowka) in the parish of Darkehmen (1938–1946 Angerapp , Russian: Osjorsk) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union, with its predominantly Protestant population . The last German clergyman was Pastor Johannes Schenk .

During the Soviet era all church life collapsed due to state prohibitions. It was not until the 1990s that new Protestant parishes emerged in the Kaliningrad Oblast, the closest of which to Novo-Slavyanskoye is the one in Gawrilowo ( Gawaiten , 1938–1946 Herzogsrode ). It is incorporated into the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
