Ratno Górne (German Oberrathen ) is a village in the Polish powiat Kłodzki in the Voivodeship of Lower Silesia . It belongs to the urban and rural municipality Radków ( Wünschelburg ).

geography

Oberrathen is located on the northern edge of the Heuscheuergebirge , ten kilometers southwest of Nowa Ruda . It is traversed by the Posna, a right tributary of the stones . Neighboring towns are Gajów in the north, Ścinawka Górna in the northeast, Ratno Dolne in the east, Wambierzyce in the southeast, Nowy Świat in the south and Radków in the west.

history

Oberrathen was first mentioned in 1347. It belonged to the Glatzer Land , with which it shared the history of its political and ecclesiastical affiliation from the beginning. For 1414 there is evidence of a free judge. In his capacity as King of Bohemia, Emperor Rudolf II sold Oberrathen in 1601 to the city of Wünschelburg, which had to cede it to its creditors in 1631 due to over-indebtedness. In 1684 Daniel Paschasius von Osterberg acquired Oberrathen, who bequeathed it to his son Johann Anton in 1711. This sold Oberrathen in 1761 to the neuror Kommerzienrat Leopold Genedel. For 1805 a free judge estate, 15 farmers and 58 gardener and cottage traders are proven.

In 1854 the Genedel heirs sold Oberrathen to Woldemar von Johnston, who was followed by his son Maximilian. The property passed to Baron von Blanckart through his widow . Oberrathen always belonged to the parish of Wünschelburg, where the children initially went to school. In 1885 the municipality of Oberrathen built its own school building. The Oberrathener Freirichtergut was preserved as a special property until the 20th century and belonged to the town of Wünschelburg from 1851 to 1916.

After the First Silesian War in 1742 and finally with the Peace of Hubertusburg in 1763, Oberrathen and the County of Glatz became part of Prussia . After the reorganization of Prussia, it belonged to the province of Silesia from 1815 , which was divided into districts. The district of Glatz was responsible from 1816–1853, and the district of Neurode from 1854–1932 . After its dissolution in 1933, Oberrathen was again part of the Glatz district until 1945.

As a result of the Second World War , Oberrathen fell to Poland in 1945 and was renamed Ratno Górne . The German population was expelled . Some of the newly settled residents were displaced from eastern Poland . 1975-1998 Ratno Górne belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship (German Waldenburg ).
