Regine Hildebrandt Prize

The Regine Hildebrandt Prize of the German Social Democrats has been awarded annually by the SPD since 2002 . The prize will be awarded in Berlin on November 26th, the anniversary of Regine Hildebrandt's death .

The SPD party executive honors Hildebrandt's life's work with the Regine Hildebrandt Prize. It honors people or social groups who, in the spirit of Regine Hildebrandt, are committed to the internal unity of Germany in East and West Germany , who work against right-wing extremism and violence and who stand up for peace , freedom and social justice .
