Riki Lindhome
Riki Lindhome (born March 5, 1979 in Coudersport , Pennsylvania ) is an American comedian , actress and musician. Together with Kate Micucci she plays in the comedy band Garfunkel and Oates .
Life
Lindhome studied at Syracuse University in Syracuse , New York , where she also made her debut as a comedian in a sketch comedy group. After completing her studies, she first appeared as an actress in the Californian theater group The Actors' Gang in several productions, including the play Million Dollar Baby , in the 2004 film adaptation of which she also played a supporting role.
Lindhome has appeared in various sitcoms and movies. In 2006 she starred in the horror film Pulse - You're Dead Before You Die , in 2009 she starred in the remake of the Wes Craven shocker The Last House on the Left . In 2011 she took on the role of Conrade in Joss Whedon's Shakespeare adaptation Much Ado About Nothing . She starred in Robert Ben Garant's directorial debut Hell Baby in 2012.
In 2014 she was seen together with her stage partner Kate Micucci in the sitcom Garfunkel and Oates on the TV channel IFC , which was based on the stage program of the band of the two comedians. The following year, Lindhome created the Comedy Central television series Another Period with Natasha Leggero , in which she also played a leading role.
