Riscant
Riscant , a group of actors and musicians, played songs from Ulrike Dissmann's Munich summer theater .
history
"Riscant" was founded in 2007. The first appearance for three in the later founding cast of "Riscant" took place in the prison in Nuremberg . Since 2005 there had been innumerable appearances as solo or quartet from the circles of the Munich summer theater in various casts. However, after an actress quit shortly before the show in Nuremberg, they finally appeared as a trio. On March 7, 2007 "Riscant" had its first classical appearance on the " Kleines Theater in Haar " stage.
The ensemble existed until August 2015.
composition
Until August 2015, the trio consisted of the actress Isabelle Scheiber ( soprano ), the actor and musical director of the group Ramon Bessel ( tenor ) and the actor Christoph Hirschauer ( baritone ).
Sebastian Korp was a member of the group until 2011. He was followed by Christoph Hirschauer in May 2011. The name "Riscant" comes from the first name initials of the founding members (R) amon, (I) sabelle and (S) ebastian.
In addition to Riscant, the actors also played in the ensemble of the Munich Summer Theater .
Genre
The group's standard program was called Theaterlieder , as all of the songs in the program were originally written for productions at the Munich Summer Theater. In the summer and Christmas time, the group played a further program based on the season. The texts and melodies came from the director of the Munich summer theater Ulrike Dissmann, and Ramon Bessel arranged them. Riscant's musical genre cannot easily be described. It is neither cabaret nor pure music performances. The songs deal with typical theatrical and literary themes: love, life and (supposed) heroism. The pieces are partly thought-provoking, partly to make you smile. The Süddeutsche Zeitung described the pieces as "funny, but not cabaret, poetic but with a wink, amusing and yet profound."
The actors accompanied the pieces with piano , double bass , guitar , glockenspiel , saxophone , hurdy-gurdy , flute / recorder , cymbal , drum and / or horn . The actors took turns to present the songs with reference to the plays.
