Rolf Roggendorf
Rolf Roggendorf (born May 3, 1939 in Cologne ) is a former German track cyclist .
As an amateur , Rolf Roggendorf was third in the German championship in two-man team driving in 1958 , together with Manfred Donike , and the following year with Hans-Peter Flock, second in the national championship in tandem racing . In 1960 he won the German championship title in tandem with August Rieke . Then Roggendorf became a professional .
As a professional driver, Roggendorf started in 85 six-day races . He did not succeed in winning, but took podium places several times: in 1960 he finished second with Manfred Donike in Münster , 1962 with Palle Lykke in Cologne , 1964 with Klemens Großimlinghaus in Münster and in 1965 with Rudi Altig in Bremen . He also achieved top places in national professional championships in sprint , two-man team driving, omnium and standing races . In 1968 he and the Dane Freddy Eugen became vice European champion in Madison.
