Life

Rotraut Rieger was born on August 29, 1946, the second of four children in Hildesheim. At the age of eight she moved with her family to Stuttgart , where she took part directly in the children's radio and children's choir of the Süddeutscher Rundfunk . After finishing school, she took dance and acting lessons from Ursula Fuß-Schwarz in Stuttgart. She also had singing lessons from Professor Dietger Jacob in Cologne and from Ruth Grünhagen in Düsseldorf .
