The Romanian U-20 national football team is a selection team of Romanian football players. It is subject to the Federația Română de Fotbal and represents them internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations or at the U-20 World Cup .

The team has so far qualified for a World Cup finals. In 1981 she lost in the semi-finals in extra time against eventual world champions Germany and then defeated the English team in the game for third place .
