Südfeldmark is a quarter of the Mitte district of the Wattenscheid district in Bochum . It is located east of the city garden . The district includes the Südfeldmarkschule, which is now closed, and the open-air wave pool on Märkische Strasse, which opened in 1976. The Südfeldmark settlement community was founded in 1937. The SSV Schwarz-Weiß Südfeldmark, with a focus on football, was merged into Schwarz-Weiß Wattenscheid in 2008.
