Samoset is a census-designated place (CDP) in Manatee County in the US state of Florida with 3854 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Samoset borders the city of Bradenton , is about 60 km south of Tampa and is crossed by US Highway 301 .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 3854 inhabitants were distributed among 1157 households. The population density was 770.8 inh / km². 54.6% of the population identified themselves as whites, 27.7% as African American , 0.4% as Indians and 0.8% as Asian Americans . 13.5% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.0% to several ethnic groups. 34.6% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
