Sankt Nikolai Kirke

Sankt Nikolai Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the town of Nakskov on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Lollands Nørre Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Nakskov Municipality in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Lolland Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

Of the 12,707 inhabitants of Nakskov, 8,827 live in the parish of St. Nikolai (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Sankt Nikolai Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the north Branderslev Sogn , in the east Stormarks Sogn and Avnede Sogn , in the south Arninge Sogn and in the south-west Vemmenkov Sogn .
