The Scheibenbuck-Bluttenbuck nature reserve is located in the municipality of Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district in Baden-Württemberg .

Characteristics

The protected area was created on December 26, 1978 by ordinance of the Freiburg Regional Council with the protected area number 3104. This ordinance was published in the Law Gazette for Baden-Württemberg on February 16, 1979 and then came into force. The CDDA code is 82513 and corresponds to the WDPA ID .

location

The area consists of three sub-areas and is located northeast of the Vogsburg district of Schelingen . It includes parts of the disc bucket and the blood bucket. The protected area belongs entirely to FFH area No. 7911-341 Kaiserstuhl as well as to bird protection area No. 7912-442 Kaiserstuhl and also to the Southern Black Forest Nature Park . It is located in the natural area 203- Kaiserstuhl within the natural spatial main unit 20- Southern Upper Rhine Lowland .

Protection purpose

According to the Protected Area Ordinance, the main protection purpose is the preservation of the protected parts of the Scheiben- and Bluttenbucks both as a habitat for species-rich societies of rare, partly endangered plant and animal species, and as natural areas that enrich the cultural landscape of the Kaiserstuhl.
