history

The castle belonged to an unknown noble family and was probably located near the village of Mittelmuhr . However, both objects can no longer be precisely located. According to tradition, the gentlemen von Muhr are said to have lived here around the year 600. There were a few courtyards around the castle. For unexplained reasons, the castle burned down in the 14th century (according to other sources in 1584) and was not rebuilt.
