The Postal Emetzheim is an Outbound Turmhügelburg (moth) along Castle Road on the northern edge of the local part Emetzheim the city of White Castle in the Middle Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen in Bavaria .

The tower hill castle was built in the 12th century by the local nobles, the Kropfe von Emetzheim, who have been known since 1179 and who were ministerials of the bishops of the Eichstätt bishopric , and mentioned in 1187 with a goiter from Emetzheim.

Ulrich von Putendorf is named as the owner around 1381 and Christoph Ulrich Marschall von Pappenheim from 1595 to 1600 . In 1616 the castle was already described as desolate .

The castle complex had a castle plateau of about 20 by 25 meters with a bailey of about 90 by 60 meters. Today's castle site still shows the remains of the castle hill.
