Wörth Castle on the Isar

The Wörth castle on the Isar is a former noble residence in Wörth an der Isar in the district of Landshut in Lower Bavaria . It was built in the 17th or 18th century and, in addition to the main building with a mezzanine and the utility building, also has a small landscaped park created around 1870 .

In 1870 the Schlossbrauerei Wörth was founded, which was led by Georg Kell from around 1940. It existed until the 1970s and was housed in a two-story saddle roof building directly on the former federal road 11 .
