Schloss Haag light is in light Haag in the municipality Gerzen in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut situated castle . As the Hofmarkschloss it was the manor of the Hofmark Lichtenhaag and other court brands. The palace complex stands at the height of the ridge of the spur just west of the confluence of the Großer and Kleiner Vils . It is a four-wing complex around a small inner courtyard. To the west is a stately residential building. The other wings are lower, the northern one has a stepped gable. The late medieval complex was expanded in the 17th and 18th centuries. The entrance portal and dome tower are baroque with furnishings.

history

Around 1305 the nobles of Leberskirchen moved their headquarters from the Leberskirchen family estate to Lichtenhaag. In 1506 the seat of Lichtenhaag and other court brands were confirmed in the possession of the Leberskircher family. When the Leberskircher family died out in 1521, the three Hofmarksdörfer Lichtenhaag, Leberskirchen and Vilssattling with their headquarters in Lichtenhaag came to the keeper of Biburg. In 1762, the Count of Seyboldsdorf acquired Lichtenhaag and other places, but the court righteousness remained. The patrimonial court in Lichtenhaag was not repealed until 1849.

In the 1990s, Lichtenhaag u. a. Extensively renovated by the Mayor of Freising, Adolf Schäfer .
