The transmitter Ulm-Ermingen is a transmitter of the German radio tower for VHF , mobile radio , directional radio and digital television . It is located near the village of Ermingen , a western part of Ulm .

A free-standing reinforced concrete tower is used as the antenna carrier . This tower, which does not have any areas that are regularly accessible to the public, is 154.6 m high, of which the shaft is 110 m high, with a diameter of 11.5 meters below and 2.9 meters above. At a height of 43 m, 58 m, 70 m and 81 m, the tower has radio relay platforms . The adjacent antenna mast consists of a 29.9 m long steel tube with a 15.3 m high GRP cylinder on top, in which the antennas for digital television ( DVB-T ) are located.

The telecommunications tower Ulm-Ermingen is a type tower of the former Federal Post Office . Like the Heubach transmitter , it belongs to the Type D, of which only five were built.
