Sharon Washington (* in New York City , New York ) is an American actress and playwright . She is best known for her roles in the films Die Hard: Now more than ever and Joker .

life and career

Sharon Washington is from New York and is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale University , where she graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts . Since the beginning of her career she has worked regularly as a stage actress. She performed in Denver, Hartford, Philadelphia and Louisville, among others. In her hometown she appears on Broadway and Off-Broadway , as well as the New York Shakespeare Festival . With Feeding the Drageon she wrote a play herself, in which she also played. It premiered in Pittsburgh and then made it to Broadway. Washington itself did itAudelco Award , as well as nominations for the Lucille Lortel Award and the Outer Critics Circle Award .

In 1989 she appeared in front of the camera for the first time with an appearance in the series Hawk . In 1992, she starred as Augusta a supporting role in the film Malcolm X .
