Simona Caparrini (born January 5, 1972 in Florence ) is an Italian film and television actress .

Life

In 1990 she began her film career with a small supporting role as Carla in the film "Il Muro di gomma", directed by Marco Risi . She received her first significant character role in 1994 as partner of Alberto Sordi in the role of Wilma in "Nestore, l'ultima corsa". Caparrini appeared in many other film and television productions and worked with a number of important directors such as Marco Risi , Alberto Sordi , Tonino Cervi , Vittorio De Sisti , Michael Radford , Antonello Grimaldi , Marco Serafini , Carlo Carlei , Guy Ritchie and Woody Allen .

Under Woody Allen , she played the role of Aunt Joanne in the film To Rome With Love and became known to a wide international audience. In 2013 she starred alongside Paul Giamatti , Damian Lewis , Ed Westwick , Hailee Steinfeld , Stellan Skarsgård , in Romeo and Juliet , directed by Carlo Carlei . In 2014 she starred alongside Henry Cavill , Armie Hammer , Hugh Grant , in Warner Bros. codenamed UNCLE , directed by Guy Ritchie .
