Sky Open 2009

The Sky Open 2009 took place from September 17th to 23rd, 2009 in Cairo , Egypt . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2009/10 and belonged to the Super Series Platinum category . It was endowed with $ 147,500.

In the final, world number one Karim Darwish met Grégory Gaultier , whom he defeated 11: 6, 7:11, 6:11, 11: 9 and 11: 3.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Karim Samy a spot in the main draw.
