Sky Open 2008

The Sky Open 2008 took place from July 28th to August 4th, 2008 in Cairo , Egypt . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2008/09 and belonged to the Super Series Platinum category . It was endowed with $ 140,000.

Wael El Hindi won the final against Karim Darwish 11: 8, 11: 5, 5:11 and 11: 9. It was El Hindi's sixth title on the PSA World Tour and his first in the Super Series.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Karim Samy a spot in the main draw.
