Sky Open 2010

The Sky Open 2010 took place from May 15-22, 2010 in Cairo , Egypt . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2009/10 and belonged to the Super Series Platinum category . It was endowed with $ 150,000.

The final was won by Nick Matthew , who defeated Karim Darwish 6:11, 11: 7, 12:10 and 13:11. Matthew, who won the 14th title of his career, secured himself the first takeover of the world rankings on June 1, 2010 through his entry into the final and the simultaneous defeat of Ramy Ashour to Karim Darwish in the second semi-final .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Karim Samy a spot in the main draw.
