Solling foreland

The Solling foreland is a cultural landscape that covers the low mountain range of Solling and (further south) Bramwald to the east to the Leinegraben , but includes various independent and well-known ridges that are commonly assigned to the Leinebergland.

The designation is a geographical natural spatial main unit that belongs to the natural spatial greater region of Lower Saxony Bergland . The term is not used in everyday language. While the high areas are forested, the remaining areas are used for agriculture .
