The Anneliese quarry is located in the Warendorf district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Today it is a nature reserve .

The 43 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1988 , extends south of the core town of Ennigerloh . The B 475 runs to the east .

The protection is done for the preservation, promotion, development and restoration of communities and habitats of wild life, z.
