The Lippeaue between Göttingen and Cappel is a nature reserve in the municipality of Wadersloh in the Warendorf district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is located south of Göttingen , a district of the former municipality of Liesborn , along the Lippe , a right tributary of the Rhine . Cappel , a district of Lippstadt , lies to the northeast.

The nature reserve is designated as a contiguous protected area of ​​the EU bird sanctuary " Lippeaue between Hamm and Lippstadt mit Ahsewiesen ".
