The nature reserve Emsaue west of Warendorf lies in the area of ​​the municipality of Everswinkel and the cities of Telgte and Warendorf in the district of Warendorf in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The approximately 415 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 2004 , extends west of the core town of Warendorf along the Ems . The B 64 runs not far to the south .
