Sterławki Średnie is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Giżycko ( rural municipality Lötzen ) in the powiat Giżycki (district Lötzen ).
Geographical location
Sterławki Średnie is located in the north-east of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , elt kilometers southwest of the district town of Giżycko (Lötzen) . The place is located between the villages of Sterławki Małe ( German Klein Stürlack ) and Sterławki Wielkie (Groß Stürlack) and could - according to its name - be called "Mittel Stürlack".
history
The small settlement of Sterławki Średnie did not emerge until after 1945. The central focus - not only geographically - became a state farm in 1949 (in Polish Państwowe gospodarstwo rolne ), which was run as such for many years.
