Synagogue (Niederroedern)
The synagogue in Niederrœdern , a French commune in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region , was built in 1869. The synagogue was on Herbengasse, today's Rue de Blond.
Since the occupation of France by German troops in World War II , the synagogue building has been used by the population to dry herbs. At the end of the war, the synagogue served as an ammunition store for the Wehrmacht. The building was destroyed by American aerial bombs in January 1945.
