Sannat (or Ta 'Sannat ) is a village on the island of Gozo in the Republic of Malta with 1899 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2018). Sannat is located in the south of the island and is known for its high cliffs, prehistoric dragging tracks , temples and dolmens as well as for its rich flora and fauna.
Neighboring communities are Għajnsielem , Munxar and Xewkija . The community borders the sea in the southwest.
The patron saint of the community is St. Margaret of Antioch .
Parish partnership
Since 2004 there has been a partnership between Sannat and the Italian municipality of Pisoniano in the metropolitan city of Rome , Lazio region .
