The Taylor Township is one of 24 townships in Ogle County in the north of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois .

Taylor Township is located in northern Illinois on the left bank of the Rock River around 150 km west of Chicago. The border with Wisconsin runs about 70 km north and the Mississippi , which forms the border with Iowa , about 70 km west.
The Taylor Township is located at 41 ° 54'35 "north latitude and 89 ° 20'09" west longitude and extends over 40.1 km².
Taylor Township is located in the south of Ogle County and borders on Lee County to the south . Within Ogle County, Taylor Township is bordered by Grand Detour Township in the west, Pine Creek Township in the northwest , Oregon-Nashua Township in the north, Pine Rock Township in the northeast and LaFayette Township in the east .
