The Teninger Unterwald nature reserve is located in the municipality of Teningen in the Emmendingen district in Baden-Württemberg .

The area extends west of the core town of Teningen. The A 5 runs along the eastern edge of the area and the Schobbach , a tributary of the Glotter, flows on the western edge . The Elz flows northeast and the L 1114 state road runs southeast .

Since November 22, 1982, a 52.8 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Teningen under the identification number 3.124. It is a "habitat of various landscape-typical, groundwater-dependent forest stands with species-rich flora and fauna."
