Udby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the south of the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Bårse Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Vordingborg Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into the "new" Vordingborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

The parish has 314 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Udby Kirke" is in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are in the north-east Bårse Sogn , in the east Beldringe Sogn and Allerslev Sogn , in the south-east Øster Egesborg Sogn , in the south Ørslev Sogn , in the west Sværdborg Sogn and in the north-west Sværdborg Sogn.
