Ueli Christen (born April 21, 1962 in Lucerne ) is a film editor from Switzerland who lives in Munich .
Christen studied from 1983 at the University of Television and Film Munich . His work includes more than 50 film and television productions.
For the section of Dennis Gansel's film Die Welle , he was 2008 in the category Best Editing for the German Film Award nomination. He received another nomination in 2011 for Wir sind die Nacht .
For the German Television Award 2019 he was nominated together with Karin Hartusch in the category Best Editing for Das Boot , and also as sole editor for Gladbeck , for which he was awarded the prize.
Christen is a member of the German Film Academy .
