Ulverytternes Kamp / Mourning is a split - EP by the Norwegian band Ulver and Mysticum . It was published by Necromantic Gallery in 1994.
Creation and publication
Ulver had recorded their demo Vargnatt in October 1993 , from which the track Ulverytternes Kamp was used for the split EP with Mysticum. Mysticum's piece Mourning was actually recorded for the demo Medusa's Tears in May 1993 , but was left out there due to stylistic differences to the rest of the material. The split EP was limited to 1000 copies.

reception
"This might have been an interesting thing to have back in the day, and if you're a die-hard collector maybe still today but I really don't see any point in bothering with this."
“Fans of Ulver will be greatly disappointed as everything other than the vocals and cymbals are almost completely unintelligible throughout most of the track. At least with 'Mourning' the production contributes to the 'evil' sound instead of just annoying the listener. Overall, though, it's definitely not that great a release. "
