VER-Dinale - Verden indoor equestrian tournament

The VER-Dinale is an indoor riding tournament that takes place annually in January in the equestrian town of Verden an der Aller. The venue is the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden. The organizer is the tournament community Verden (Rennverein Verden eV & Reitverein Graf von Schmettow eV). The VER-Dinale is a national indoor equestrian tournament (CDN / CSN) with jumping and dressage tests up to class S ***. In January 2015 the tournament took place for the 40th time.

The tournament

Until 2007 the tournament was called the Verden Indoor Riding Tournament . The name VER-Dinale , which the tournament has had since 2008, was determined from more than 100 suggestions .

The VER-Dinale traditionally takes place in the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden (Aller). The Niedersachsenhalle was extensively rebuilt and renewed between 2010 and 2012. Since then, a new exercise hall (20x60) directly behind the Niedersachsenhalle and new stables have been available.

The tournament is advertised as a national indoor equestrian tournament with jumping and dressage tests up to S *** level tests. In addition to these tests, the Federal Junior Pony Show Jumping Championship has been taking place at the VER-Dinale since 2002. A special attraction at the VER-Dinale is the large stallion show of the Celle State Stud , which is very popular with the public.

The most important jumping competitions of the VER-Dinale are the Youngster Tour, the Medium Tour and the Big Tour. The final of the Grand Tour, the Grand Prix, is advertised as class S ***.

The most important dressage tests of the VER-Dinale are the Short Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle, both class S ***, as well as the St. Georg Special class S * and Intermediaire I class S **.

Federal young pony show jumping championship

The federal pony show jumping championship for young riders was launched in 1989 with the aim of targeting and promoting young show jumpers in the country. The venue was initially Bremen, since 2002 the final has been held in Verden. The test is called the Höveler Trophy (FN) , named after the test sponsor, Höveler Spezialfutterwerke GmbH & Co. KG.

20 riders aged 16 and under are entitled to participate in the federal young pony show jumping championships. The way to Verden leads through five viewing tournaments in the country and a subsequent selection course under the direction of national coach Peter Teeuwen. The visual tests are advertised at the level of class L. At the federal junior championship itself, the participants compete against each other in two style jumping competitions with standard requirements of class M with a final horse change final of the best four.

Special features of the tournament

"Jump & Rock - The Championship Party"

An annual championship party has been held since 2011. Under the motto "Jump & Rock", this party will take place on the Saturday of the tournament and should give tournament participants, friends of equestrian sports and tournament visitors the opportunity to celebrate together.

Miss VER-Dinale

For the first time a Miss VER-Dinale was chosen at the VER-Dinale 2012. In the online voting, the Miss VER-Dinale 2012 was chosen from several applicants before the tournament.
