Career
Rivera was born in Brockton, Massachusetts in the United States in 1984 . At the age of 13, Rivera played in several musicals . She was later crowned Miss Massachusetts. After graduating from high school, Rivera studied music at the South Shore Conservatory and later at the New England Conservatory Opera.

Rivera became known for the nine-part series The Princess Chronicles , which she herself published on YouTube with extensive editing with visual effects. This in-house production is about a Venetian palace. Each episode had new magical and eccentric characters, all played by Rivera himself.

The official YouTube blog asked VenetianPrincess to explain her username. Your answer (freely translated):
"When I created my YouTube account back in 2006, I wasn't thinking of a name related to a brand. I was just thinking of a username and an inspiration for videos. I thought of Venetian Princess because, first of all, I'm half-Italian. Venice has this lots of culture and mysticism, from the Venetian masks to the gondolas. I thought that would make a good video backdrop. The princess part was my homage to my idol, Princess Diana. I am also a Disney fan, so it has two meanings to me. "
