In the administrative community Seenplatte from the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia , 12 communities have come together to handle their administrative business. It lies between the towns of Schleiz and Neustadt an der Orla . The administrative association is based in Oettersdorf .

The municipalities

history

The administrative community was founded on December 7, 1990. Her name until November 3, 1994 was Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Oettersdorf . On November 4th, the municipalities of Bucha , Dreba , Knau , Tegau and Volkmannsdorf joined the administrative community. Until December 1, 2010 the municipality Dragensdorf belonged to the administrative community, which was then incorporated into Dittersdorf.

Thanks to a citizens' initiative, fast broadband connections have been available in the communities of Dittersdorf, Tegau, Moßbach, Plothen, Göschitz, Burkersdorf, Rödersdorf and Chursdorf since 2007.

On 31 December 2013, the member community was Chursdorf by Dittersdorf incorporated.

As part of the Thuringia regional reform in 2018 and 2019 , the member community Bucha was incorporated into Knau on January 1, 2019 . The member communities Knau and Dreba were incorporated into Neustadt an der Orla on December 31, 2019.
