Volksbank Tuttlingen expanded in the 1950s with Volksbank Aldingen (1953) and Volksbank Möhringen (1957). In 1968 Sparda Reichenbach merged with Wehinger Bank . Volksbank Schwenningen succeeded in doing this for the first time in 1972. In 1980, Raiffeisenbank Deilingen-Delkhofen merged with Wehinger Bank. In the same year the Volksbanks Neuhausen and Seitingen-Oberflacht and in 1987 the Volksbank Immendingen merged with the Volksbank Tuttlingen. Development since 2000

In 2000, Volksbank Donau - Neckar was founded as a merger of Schwenninger Volksbank, Volksbank Tuttlingen and Volksbank Wehingen-Heuberg. Just one year later it merged with Raiffeisenbank Südlicher Heuberg. One of the aftermath of the merger brought the institute into financial difficulties in 2005. Since several million euros were not secured, mainly in the area of corporate loans, the bank had to apply for the cooperative deposit protection fund, but probably not. A hiring freeze was imposed, the institute was restructured on its own by 2006/2007. In 2016, the merger with the Schramberg- based Volksbank Schwarzwald-Neckar, which has around 16,000 members, followed. The company was then changed to Volksbank Schwarzwald-Donau-Neckar eG .
