Weithart is one of eight localities in the Baden-Württemberg community of Ostrach in the Sigmaringen district .

The Weithart area is around five and a half kilometers northwest of the main town of Ostrach.

history
In the course of the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg , Einhart, Levertsweiler and Habsthal and Bernweiler were incorporated into Ostrach on October 1, 1974.

Mayor
Alois Müller is the mayor of Weithart; his representative is Dominic Osswald. Both were elected and confirmed by the local council in May 2014.
