Ulzhausen is a suburb of Burgweiler , one of eight localities in the Baden-Württemberg community of Ostrach in the Sigmaringen district .

Geographical location
The suburb of Ulzhausen is 5.7 kilometers southwest of the center of Ostrach, between Waldbeuren in the northwest, the Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried in the east and southeast, and the Judentenberg belonging to the municipality of Illmensee in the southwest.
history
Middle of the 11th century was Oudilshusin first mentioned in a document, it belonged to the monastery Petershausen and subject to the jurisdiction of the county Heiligenberg .
In 1806 Ulzhausen became Baden , from 1924 it belonged to the Burgweiler community and was reclassified as a district from Burgweiler to Ostrach on January 1, 1975 as part of the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg .
