Wyłudki ( German  Willudtken , 1938 to 1945 Heydeck ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural community Miłki (Milken) in the Giżycki powiat ( Lötzen district ).

Geographical location

The settlement ( Polish osada ) Wyłudki is located near the southeast bank of the Ublick Lake ( Polish Jezioro Ublik Mały ) in the eastern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , 21 kilometers southeast of the district town of Giżycko (Lötzen) .

history

In 1533, the small to 1818 Willutken before 1912 Wyludtken until 1938 Willdtken place indicated founded. Until 1945 it actually only consisted of a large courtyard and from the beginning it was a residential area within the community of Dannowen (1938 to 1945 Dannen, in Polish Danowo). In 1905 it had 16 residents in two houses. The place on the mother church belonged until 1945 to the county Lötzen in Administrative district Gumbinnen (1905 to 1945: Administrative district Allenstein ) the Prussian province of East Prussia . In addition, Willudtken was incorporated into the registry office Groß Konopken (1938 to 1945 Hanffen, in Polish Konopki Wielkie ). On June 3, 1938 - officially confirmed on July 16 - Willudtken was renamed “Heydeck”.

As a result of the war, the small town came to Poland in 1945 along with all of southern East Prussia and was given the Polish name “Wyłudki”. Today it is a locality within the rural community Miłki (Milken) in the powiat Giżycki in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

Today Wyłudki belongs to the evangelical parish Giżycko with the branch church in Wydminy (Widminnen) within the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland and to the Catholic parish church Miłki in the diocese of Ełk (Lyck) of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland .

Wyłudki can be reached via a country road that branches off three kilometers south of Konopki Wielkie (Groß Konopken , 1938 to 1945 Hanffen) from the Polish state road DK 63 (former German Reichsstraße 131 ). A railway connection has not existed since 1945 the Lötzen – Arys (–Johannisburg) railway line with the nearby Ublick ( Polish Ublik ) station was abandoned due to the war.
